The “Carolina Girl” represents a heavy laid fiberglass hull (1.75″) with a full keel. She tracks completely and is a satisfaction to handle in a storm! The Pathfinder diesel engine is really credible and incredibly stingy with fuel (the engine and transmission were both entirely rebuilt in 2004). She includes wide gunnel courses to the forward deck and bow pulpit which accommodates two anchors, a chain locker and power windlass. Her aft deck are the area of the davits and teak swim platform. The center cockpit is enclosed with a difficult dodger and guiding bimical captain’s seat and navigational equipment. Her two hatches enable a breeze to stream through the galley while the windows are open for a beautiful, comfortable ride! On the starboard side, there is double deep sink and an L shaped refrig/freezer, oven-stove with countertop cabinet drawers.
